Power, ground & diagnostics. One probe.
The Power Probe 3EZ is an all-in-one automotive circuit tester for 12V and 24V DC systems. Supply battery voltage or ground straight from the probe tip, read voltage on the digital display, and let the guided EZ Diagnostics walk you through battery, fuse, component and reference tests — replacing your test light, voltmeter and jumper wires.
Features & functions
- Supply 12/24V DC power or ground directly from the probe tip to activate fuel pumps, blower motors, cooling fans, solenoids, relays and lights — no back-probing or jumper wires.
- Digital LCD voltmeter reads 0–70V DC with Max Peak and Min Peak capture to catch intermittent spikes and momentary voltage drops while wiggle-testing harnesses.
- Guided EZ Diagnostics step you through battery check, charge test, fuse test, voltage test, component test and 5V reference — each with a scannable how-to video.
- Red/green polarity LEDs and a toggleable audio tone confirm positive or ground and let you “listen” to sensor signals across a 10Hz–10kHz pass-through.
- Two-level continuity to ground plus dual white LED work lights speed up testing in dark engine bays.
- EZ Learning mode helps new users get familiar with the probe’s behaviour before live diagnostics.
Resettable protection: an 8-amp thermal circuit breaker with manual reset shields the tool and the vehicle’s wiring after an accidental short — let it cool about 15 seconds, then press reset.
