The Power Probe DM300AUTO is an automotive digital multimeter with a colour TFT display and True RMS measurement, built around the tests you run on a vehicle. Alongside voltage, current, resistance, continuity, diode, frequency and duty cycle, it adds guided battery and alternator diagnostics, a cranking voltage test, and in-place fuse-current reading — one tool for most 12V/24V electrical checks.

Features & functions
- Colour TFT with True RMS and a 6000-count display for clear, accurate readings
- Guided Normal and Smart Alternator charging test records voltage under load and shows a 12V/24V pass or fail
- Cranking Voltage Test captures the voltage drop on start to flag a weak battery or starter connection
- Colour-coded DC voltage advises on battery and alternator condition — recharge, check regulator or replace
- Reads fuse current through MINI, ATC/ATO and MAXI fuses in place, plus in-line current to 10A (30A with probe)
- Full multimeter: DC/AC voltage to 1000V, resistance, continuity, diode and LED test, frequency and duty cycle
- Rugged CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V, 4 ft drop and vibration tested; runs about 50 hours on 4× AA
