The Power Probe PPEVTEST is a professional electrical safety tester built for electric and hybrid vehicle diagnostics. It replaces a CAT III 1000V/CAT IV 600V True RMS voltmeter, a 1kV insulation resistance tester and a true milliohm meter in one handheld unit, so a technician can check voltage, insulation integrity and bonding resistance on high-voltage EV systems without switching tools.

  • Replaces a CAT III 1000V/CAT IV 600V True RMS voltmeter, a 1kV insulation tester and a true milliohm meter in one instrument.
  • Insulation resistance up to 1000VDC and 200GΩ, with Polarization Index, Dielectric Absorption Ratio and countdown timer calculations.
  • 4-wire Kelvin resistance from 0.001mΩ for bonding and low-resistance checks; 2-wire mode covers up to 40.00kΩ.
  • Smart diode test automatically detects polarity, or run the traditional positive-only Classic mode.
  • Wire length calculator works out cable length from AWG and measured resistance, up to 10km.
  • Capacitance up to 1000µF and temperature from -40°C to 400°C via the included K-type thermocouple.
  • Bluetooth 5.0 connects to the Power Probe Link app for remote monitoring, storing up to 400 test results with auto-save.
  • 2.8in backlit TFT colour display with bar-graph scale and a PASS/FAIL compare indicator against user-set thresholds.
CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V rated: built and accessorised for safe measurement on high-voltage EV and hybrid systems, not just standard 12V automotive circuits.
