The Power Probe PPSK is a cordless, butane-powered soldering kit built for wiring repairs on the vehicle or at the bench. One self-igniting torch body swaps between soldering, cutting and heat-shrink tips, so a damaged harness gets soldered, sealed and back in service without ever reaching for a wall outlet.
Features & functions
- Cordless, butane-powered soldering system — no mains outlet or battery charger needed, works anywhere on the vehicle or bench.
- Multi-tip design — swap between a standard soldering tip, chisel and wedge tips, a hot knife, and a hot-blower head for heat-shrink, all with the same torch body.
- Adjustable flame from 1/2 in to 2 1/2 in, up to 950°F / 510°C, tuned via the flow control knob.
- Doubles as an open-flame torch — remove the soldering head and the unit works as a standard butane torch.
- Around 2 hours of runtime per fill on standard butane gas, with simple push-button ignition.
- Complete kit in a fitted case — solder wire, wrench, cleaning sponge and instruction manual travel together.
Note: butane gas is not included — fill the tool with standard butane gas before first use.
